Bible Exposition
2011
During the Autumn of 2010 South Korea hosted it's World Bible exposition in New Songdo City, a vast
area of reclaimed land on the west coast. Built using local products from the neighbouring city of Incheon;
a life sized Noah's ark made from brown glass bottles, inflatable models, fibre glass and plastic trees,
these film-set-like scenes emit a mixture of superficiality and sincerity.
This series of photographs study the intriguing juxtapositions of religion and architecture where old
and future worlds collide.
